I leave tomorrow for San Diego.
Yes, I am going to BlogHer.
Yes, I overpacked.
I mean, come on now. You know me. And since you know me, you won’t judge that I packed boots. People, it is going to be 70 degrees there. That is knee high boot weather compared to DC.
I am just ready to be on the plane tomorrow am. I am looking forward to meeting some fun new people, putting names to faces, and escaping for a few days.
If you are there, please make sure to say hello. I am not a bitch, I just play one on TV. I’d love to meet you.
And for all the is good and holy, make sure you stop by Sparklecorn Friday night. I will be there with my whole MamaPop/MoxieBird crew and the party will be the best four hours of your weekend. Who doesn’t like a crazy dance party, loads of delicious cake, and freeflowing booze?

I’m leaving tomorrow too! And I just packed and I overpacked too. But like a dork, I did not check the weather. 70!?! I’ve got to go re-pack now. Good thing I’m bringing the big suitcase…

I went to SD once…and, as I’m often cursed with poor weather when going on holiday, it was the height of the whole El Nino shebang. Humid, hot and not an air-conditioned establishment to be found. It was awful, but apparently cleared up immediately after I made the trip home.
You are certain to have excellent weather, as I’m staying on this coast. You’re welcome.
