On Change

So…notice anything new around here?

I really love it. So very much. I think it suits me and suits where the site has been and where it will go.

Though I know the houndstooth and the purple is a bit of a change, fear not. My heart still beats leopard.

Things are changing around here…on the site and with me. I am different than when I started this blog and I thought it was time to celebrate that.

Hope you love it as much as I do.

A huge thank you to Ashley at Little Leaf Designs. She was truly a pleasure to work with, “got” my vision and was nothing but a pro. I could carry on and on about her, but this was a fantastic experience all around. If you are thinking of redesigning, I cannot recommend her more.

Out the Gate

January has been banana sandwich, completely insane. While the trip earlier this month was wonderful and magnificent, I have hit the ground running since my return. I am so very tired. Would you like to take a nap with me? I like being the little spoon if that is okay with you.

I leave Wednesday for a work trip to the West Coast so things on the job front have been pretty chaotic. It appears I have to earn a paycheck, though, so I tolerate it.

This paycheck is necessary especially next month. I have trips to Source, Volt and Cityzen planned. Plus, the Gaga concert.

My life is hard, I know.

If it makes you feel better, I am getting my wisdom tooth (I only have one, luckily) at the end of the month. My karmic scales must be balanced.

On top of all this, I am starting a new writing gig. A real, big girl writing gig. When they approached me, I was endlessly flattered and then panicked a bit. I said yes, though, and I am happy to announce I will be starting a trial run at Moxie Bird today. Please go check out my first article and let then know what you think. I am so proud to be part of the /MoxieBird family even if I am wetting my pants a bit. I will be there every Monday and Wednesday at 11 am. Don’t be a stranger.

And finally, just today, you can go see me at Studio 30+. Barely thirty and I am already being asked the ponder about it…or at least join the conversation over there. I am scared I am going to run out of opinions soon. Well. Not really.

See? THIS IS WHY I AM SO TIRED.

I wouldn’t have it any other way.
