I am currently typing this post on my blackberry.
Today, my computer crashed. I stared at my computer screen, flashing a question mark mockingly, and quickly came undone.
Please keep in mind that I am the girl who sleeps with her macBook.
It has been a rough time in my life these past four hours. It is bleak and dark and I need desperately to be held.
My friend told me that I am better than this despair, but I’m really not.
Tomorrow evening, I head to the Apple Genius Bar. I have already started a prayer circle.
Please keep me-well, us- in your thoughts.

I remember your excitement upon receiving that machine. I’m thinking of you both.
I didn’t have internet for a week at home. My work doesn’t have internet except for one computer. So my blackberry internet was my only way to the outside word for an entire week. I know what you are going through. You both are I my thoughts.
Oh my god! I had no idea. I am so sorry. Just know that you are a strong, wonderful person and you WILL get through this. You will. I am here if you need anything. Stay strong, you can do this.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Macbook. Been where you are. I know the pain.
Should the worst happen…yes, I know, we have to stay positive, but if it should, may I recommend a Macbook Air? I just got mine last week and it is sooooo sweet. I’m sure it would be a fitting successor to your baby.
I sleep with my laptop, too! I keep it at the foot of the bed and surprisingly don’t spoon it.

Wait just a damn minute. MacBooks crash? Tell me it isn’t so. I upgraded from a PC to a MacBook Pro, and will never go back, but the enthusiastic saleswoman at the Apple store told me they don’t die.
