So, I am sick of all your thankfulness.
Yes, yes. I know you love your family, your friends, and your health. I love mine too. Clearly.![]()

But, really? What am I thankful for? Besides this bottle and a half of wine.
Let me tell you the things I am thankful for:
Vanity sizing
Deep inhales
Eli Roth
Cheddar and Scallion Sourdough Twists
Pink, the color…though the artist is lovely enough
Selective memory
Ceiling fans
My love, my blackberry
Rufus Wainwright’s range
Channing Tatum
Indiscriminate age of consent
Cowlicks
The moment before the leap
Fresh babies
Unfettered adoration
Paint by numbers
Matchbox (short ribs, burgers, booze, bartenders)
…and not to be cliche, every moment of my fucking life.
Thank to you for you. See you Monday.

Fresh babies. Good call. Stale babies are no good. They should be sent back. That’s why you always keep the receipt.

I don’t know what I’m grateful for. It’s going around the internet and I haven’t caught it yet.

I agree most with the bottle and a half of wine and CHANNING TATUM!

Sourdough ANYTHING.

The flavor on fresh babies is always infinitely better than packaged babies, yes. And when I read Channing Tatum my brain went to Stockard Channing…who is kinda excellent I guess, but not nearly as much.
Have a good thanksgiving.

Thank God, seriously. The internet has been overflowing with a lot of very bland gratitude, which I get, but I way prefer your list.

I’m with Kyla.
Selective memory is one of the best things about being human.

I am rather grateful for getting through the meal for 19 without killing a family member or a guest. Wine is so good for my nerves.
I too love Matchbox, especially those little sliders and the onion rings they come with.
