The Devil(s) Made Me Do It

by Lemmonex on March 7, 2008

There is a little devil that lives in my heart. He made me get the tattoos and the piercings. He forces me to buy all these  shoes I cannot afford. He keeps me up dancing all night.

He has a twin brother that keeps residence in my stomach.  With the help of his brother, he plants very evil thoughts in my brain like cream cheese on soft pretzels or frosting on cookies or french toast made with Bailey’s.

The brothers double teamed me and whispered this idea in to my sweet and innocent ears.

This is one of the naughtiest things to ever emerge from my kitchen.

You may die of a heart attack, but frankly, I think this is a damn fine way to go.

Sin Sandwiches

A Lemmonex Original

Sliced Poundcake

Generous Smear of Nutella

Sliced Bananas

Butter

Optional: defibrilator

Spread Nutella and layer banana between two pieces of poundcake. Butter poundcake. Cook over low heat; the high fat makes this burn easily. Enjoy.

Then run to your nearest gym.

Hahaha… You know, when I saw “3 comments” at the bottom of this, I thought to myself “There’s no way Taggart isn’t one of them.”

I would not have thought of bananas and nutella together. Interesting combination. And what’s this about Bailey’s french toast?

B: You know I don’t follow the rules.

MamaBear: Let me know what you think…if you don’t keel over.

DT: I seriously almost titled this post “Guaranteed to make dagny taggart drool”.

i-66: So, basically you make a french toast with challah or brioche and when you make the batter, give it a good slosh of Bailey’s…sinful.

ch: Oh! I like the banana bread idea! Smart thinking.

hin: I know. I am a class act, let me tell you.

VK: I knew it would be you who pointed that one out.

jess: It has to be the pound of butter–butter is good. and, um, is peter single? that sounds amazing.

I just gained 2 pounds reading that. And now have an overwhelming urge to purge into a tupperware container and place it in the darkest corner of my closet.

Jessica: I know, right? Cannot go wrong.

kerrie: Not going to lie; before eating this I had a CRAZY workout session so I didn’t feel wracked with guilt. And please don’t be an afterschool special–you are too loved! We can help you.

The only thing that could make that better would be to eat it in bed…or be fed it in bed. Serve with coffee (baileys, frangelico and a big splash of brandy).

I love nutella!! Anything with Nutella and I will try it. Great post, love the pics. Hey, what is wrong with pretzels and cream cheese? That is so a staple in my house along with cream cheese and salami!
