Folks, if I were a lesser person, I would be using this space right now to publicly humiliate someone, a grade A douchebag who was almost castrated by yours truly this weekend. But, I am better than that and a true believer in karma. Every douchebag gets his day…
Weekends like this remind me that I am one lucky gal, with friends who I could not love more. This Valentine’s Day, I choose to spend the day with my girl friends; the people who really love me.
So, friends of the internet, where should we go? Today, I turn to you for help. Give me something to look forward to…

Well, I might go to Graceland this Valentines Day because…well…do you really need a reason to visit Elvis?

Nothing makes you feel more attractive or better about yourself in general than a road trip to Atlantic City.
But if you want to stay in DC, I would probably do the Melting Pot. I know it’s “cheesy” (ha-ha) but that’s a fun thing to do as a group, and it’s kinda expensive so it’ll feel like a splurge, and there’s great chocolate.

I would stay in and have little shindig. Valentine’s Day is the worst night EVER to visit a restaurant.
Cook yourselves a little something and make up a big batch of your favorite cocktail (oh, and feel free to invite me over for a nip and a nosh!).

Living well is the best revenge. I’ll remind you, if you return the fav. Cheese and chocolate can’t be beat – throw in some wine and you’ve got a party. And shockingly (not), I own a fondue pot.
